Yeah, both characters’ stories are pretty much how life has worked out for me; except for the part about “Good luck finding that no-time-off-for-summer-vacation job amid the dot-com bust, post 9/11 slump, bursting housing bubble, job-loss recovery, and retail apocalypse!”
