Just about any subject can be turned that way; but I find the most stimulating way to talk about sex is to discuss it without actually saying the word itself or any directly related words. (Just talk about “making babies” or “the reproductive process” or “propagating our species” or that sort of thing. “Procreation” works here, but “intercourse” is a little too on-the nose.)

The best way to talk about sex without talking about sex is by tone of voice (hard to convey in a comic), followed by, “if you know what I mean.”
