Actually, it makes sense. Sometimes when you look at photos you have taken, there is one that you just cannot fathom what it was you thought was worth snapping a photo of: it is an echo of timeline that is destroyed, and that would have been your supermodel partner in your new golden Ferrari or perhaps Loch Ness monster doing the can can.

When you’re writing time-travel stories, you really have to decide beforehand what the rules are supposed to be and then stick to them.
