Kinda makes me think of my reaction to a picture caption in your review for Aliens in the Wild Wild West (1999) for a picture showing a “whacked-out local preacher” doing some rabble-rousing.
Preacher: “There will come demons! Demons flying out of the sky! And they will call themselves ‘American movie producers!’”
Me: “Well, he’s not wrong, you know.”
