(Just talk about “making babies” or “the reproductive process” or “propagating our species” or that sort of thing. “Procreation” works here, but “intercourse” is a little too on-the nose.)

The best way to talk about sex without talking about sex is by tone of voice (hard to convey in a comic), followed by, “if you know what I mean.”
“So I was taking this car out for a test drive…”
“Oh, is that what you kids are calling it these days?”
