Just to show you the consideration that goes into these:

In the first panel, I originally considered going with “runny poos,” as that’s a more exact rhyme with “news.” I ultimately decided against it for two reasons: 1) The rhyme it’s replacing is “you” — if an inexact rhyme is good enough for Robert Palmer, it’s good enough for me. 2) “Poos,” especially in the comic lettering typeface, doesn’t immediately read as the plural of “poo.”  Workarounds considered included “POOs” with a small-cap “s” at the end, but coupled with reason 1), I ultimately decided to go with “poo.”

Even stupid things can be done intelligently.
