The print collection that has been an unconscionably long time in coming has finally arrived!
Three hundred cartoons originally distributed for free on the internet, now available for purchase on paper! What a strange world we live in….

Awesome! Congratulations! I think I know what’s going on my Christmas list…
…and there was much rejoicing. Yay!
I received volume 2 yesterday and am already about half way through it. Very happy to add it to my book shelf beside the original volume 1! Two comments:
First, you joked in the forward about this book being a different size from volume 1. Perhaps that could be your hook — each volume would be a different size. No more boring homogenous collections sitting idly on book shelves. Be different!?
Second, since it looks as if each book is going to be 300 strips and you are currently up to 1200, it would appear as if you are getting very behind. Is your long term plan to “catch up” and release them annually? Or are you simply “winging it”? (I’ve worked a bit with self-publishing so I understand the amount of work this must be for you, but it would be awesome to be able to look forward to a yearly volume.)
Keep up the fantastic work!
Aw, Thanks. That warms the cockles of my heart, whatever they are (maybe that’s my mutant superpower).
I don’t know if having a different size each time would be a worthwhile “hook,” plus it would mean that I’d have to redesign my template YET AGAIN (both books have been “non-standard” sizes, for which CreateSpace doesn’t have a premade template).
“Long term” plan is far too optimistic of you. In all honesty, I had the entire interior for FUNDAMENTS OF PLATYPISM completed a full two years ago. I just had to get to the cover (with the scratch-built template mentioned above), and kept putting it off, and putting it off, and putting it off… But hey, maybe I can make this a Christmas stocking-stuffer tradition.
