This brings to mind the “Mr. Friendly” sketch from The Frantics Four On The Floor show:
“All right! Give the gun to the pinhead!”
Another “Four on the Floor” fan! I find myself singing “Policeman, Policeman” every time I see a cop car.
I showed my kids that sketch last night, and they said, “Oh, is THIS where your ‘Policeman, Policeman’ song comes from?”
My favorite part of that song has always been the ending:
“We made it look like an accident…” “We hit him with the hammer…” “…and now we’re here to take you away…” “…and toss you in the slammer!” “We’re going to jail! We’re going to jail…!”
